Sustainability Festival 2019

3 Weeks of 150+ sustainability events across
St Albans, Harpenden and the villages.

It’s our district – we love it! And we want to make it sustainable for generations to come.

The programme is out on Friday 5th April, and is being delivered to every household in the district with their council tax bill.

Please talk about it with your friends - ask them if they saw it and discuss what you are doing for the festival.

Come and see Rubber Jellyfish, a brand new film about the damage that balloons cause to the environment. Thursday 28th March at to the Inn on the Park St Albans. - dinner available too.

Don't Let Go is a new campaign by Plastic Free St Albans It seeks to prevent local balloon releases, and raises awareness of the environmental degradation caused by balloons.

SustFest Volunteers' evening

We would love you to come along and find out how you can help get #SustFest19 to reach everyone in the district. Includes how to share programmes to motivate people to come along; market stalls, update on basic social media and email sharing. Refreshments; all welcome. Ideal for new people who want to help, as well as regular volunteers.

Thursday 11th April, 7-9pm at the Green Kitchen, 419 Hatfield Rd, St Albans AL4 0XP.
