Abbey Showcase Saturday 25th October 11.00am - 3.00pm
Once again St. Albans Cathedral is hosting a showcase of local organisations and we have been invited to have a stall.

We'll be gathering support for our Planet Over Profit campaign by getting signatures for our local petition and getting the other groups there to support our open letter.
​
The campaign is asking for a law addressing environmental and human rights issues in UK company supply chains. The new law would stop UK companies from doing things like felling rainforest to grow palm oil, using enslaved people to grow cocoa for chocolate or damaging the ocean environment when fishing.
​
Last time we all thoroughly enjoyed the event, so, if you would like to help - even for an hour - please reply to this email.

The hunt is still on for ethical local organizations and businesses - can you help?
Along with Friends of the Earth groups around the country, we've prepared an open letter to our local MPs asking them to give their support for a Business, Human Rights and Environment Act. A big thank you to all the groups and organizations who have added their name to our open letter so far, but we're looking for more.
Can you suggest a local business or organization that already operates to high ethical standards, or a group that cares about the environment or the welfare of people?
