Help us make bunting with a difference

At our last meeting, we talked about some eye catching ideas to take to Westminster for the Planet Over Profit lobby on Wednesday 21st October (details to follow, put it in your diary).
We decided on bunting with a difference! Instead of triangles of colourful material, our bunting will have swing tags of the kind of labels we'd like to see on our food, clothes and other goods - assurances about the kind of human rights abuses and environmental harms that we hope would stop if our campaign is successful.
If you'd like to make a swing tag - make it out of card, roughly A5 size, swing tag shaped. It can be colourful or not, as you wish, and could have a picture on the other side either of your own creation or not.
If you're unsure about exactly what we're asking for, then take a look on the Friends of the Earth website where the Planet Over Profit asks are explained.
Once you've made your swing tag, get in touch so we can arrange how to add it to the bunting.
At our next meeting on Monday 20th July 7.30pm we'll be getting together at the Green House Eco Hub at 46 London Road, St Albans to make some swing tags.
Everyone is welcome.
Materials will be provided thanks to Sonya at Jefferson Eco.
Back by popular demand - the Alban Way Litter Pick!

Yes, we'll be back litter picking on the Alban Way on Monday 3rd August from 6pm.
Meet at the entrance to the Alban Way off Morrisons car park on Hatfield Road, St Albans, bringing gloves and a litter picker if you have one. We'll have sacks and some litter pickers to spare.
Dogs and accompanied children very welcome.
