Last chance to vote for your top priorities for the local council elections

CharterOfHope.png

It's the last couple of days for you to choose your top environmental policies to show local politicians that there are hopeful, environmentally friendly actions that constiuents will vote for.

With local elections coming up at the start of May we're putting together our St Albans District Charter of Hope, made up of your top 5 positive, sustainable priorities.

A big thank you if you've already done this.

Please could you also help by sharing the poll with your local friends and family?

Will you vote for your favourite policies now?

Come and See the People's Emergency Briefing and Join the Discussion

The People’s Emergency Briefing film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK. It brings together experts giving the latest evidence on climate change and how it affects us all, but is also an empowering call to action.

After the film there will be a short open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

Daisy Cooper MP will be joining the meeting for this important discussion about our future.

When - 19th April 6pm

Where - St Albans Cathedral

Tickets are limited so please book in advance. They cost £3. However, there is a concessions rate of £0 which you are able to use.

Come along with a friend, neighbour or family member; everyone is welcome.
