Plastic Free Community Picnic
Plastic Free St Albans and Highfield Park Trust
Highfield Park behind YMCA Gym, 59 Russet Drive, St Albans AL4 0DB.
Sunday 22nd April  12pm – 2pm.  FREE!

Everyone’s invited to bring a picnic using as little plastic as they can (we won’t be checking :-) ) to celebrate the launch of Plastic Free St.Albans.

Story Tent will provide plastic free fun for the under 5s and for the rest of us there’ll be games to join in and local businesses with great plastic free products to check out.

The Right Worshipful Mayor of the City and District of St.Albans will be joining us to get things underway.

Drop in between 10am – 4pm for FREE and stay as long as you like!

The Know How Festival is a day-long fun, family-friendly event - run by YOU - on Sunday 29th April with workshops to share skills and knowledge, music, short films and eating local food. Get the “Know-How” on loads of things like cycling safely, cooking veggie food and planting seeds! Learn how to sew a hem, mend a puncture, insulate your house, basic DIY around the home, unblocking a sink, changing a plug…
